The Ocean Is My View

'In the open seas, trust to fate. Face the bow in one direction.'

The journey begins with a search. What it is, no one has a clue. Some search for treasure, some search for answers, others want validation. But it should really be about balanced fulfillment. And what is always present is the boat with large sails. Enough to withstand it all.

In the event of uncertainty, moor the vessel. New cities are a different adventure. Invite people to party on board, but the next morning, many will realize that the night before was just a carnival and they will disembark. That is perfectly fine. Because the voyage was the intent from the very onset.

Be single minded. Stay the course because the journey is the reward. Even if kindred spirits are not on deck, they are always thrust into the deepest recesses of memory.

Enjoy the trip. Steady the ship, occasionally put it on autopilot. That is all. And always remember to pack beer into the chiller.
